La Rae is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to the Insurance Operations team, nurturing carrier relationships, ensuring compliance for the department and agents, and managing agent onboarding, agreement contracts, and performance metrics. She oversees the creation and management of processes and compliance for the Insurance Operations team, including new business, contracting and licensing, and CRM standard operating procedures. La Rae also produces monthly newsletter content, blogs, webinars, and seminars, and she attends conferences and events for agent recruiting and networking. As the team expert in Medicare products, La Rae leads the Medicare segment, supports agents selling Medicare products, and creates related content for publication.
La Rae earned her bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Sioux Falls and her Master of Divinity from Sioux Falls Seminary. She has several years of experience working in the insurance industry both as an agent and helping agents new to the business explore appropriate solutions for their clients. La Rae has her health and life insurance licenses. She is LTC-certified, AHIP-certified, and earned her Long-Term Care Professional (LTCP) designation.
La Rae is organized, detail-oriented, and a skilled problem solver. She is passionate about coaching and teaching others, especially when she can provide both coworkers and agents with the skills and tools they need to accomplish their jobs successfully. La Rae values excellence and loyalty in everything she does.
Originally from Sioux Falls, SD, La Rae currently resides in Burnsville, MN. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé Bill and adult daughter Bea. She also likes walking, hiking, gardening, exploring her ancestry, listening to music, and traveling.
