As Event Marketing Coordinator, Katy leads our event marketing efforts at industry conferences. She handles correspondence with event coordinators as well as the travelers from our team, organizes and packages event materials, and strategizes on future events to attend. In doing so, Katy assists in educational opportunities and helps agents learn more about Krause and how we can help them succeed.
Katy graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel, tourism, and restaurant management. She has prior experience working in hotel sales, event coordination, and corporate meeting planning, which has prepared her to communicate effectively with many different types of people in fast-paced and high-stress environments.
Katy excels when it comes to organization and multi-tasking—two vital skills for her position. She is passionate about completing successful events, which motivates her to be efficient and precise in everything she does.
In her free time, Katy enjoys spending time with her friends and family, doing anything outside, finding new restaurants, and playing pickleball.
