According to a recent poll conducted by the Pew Research Center, most Americans believe the Government should be responsible for paying for the majority of long-term care for seniors. However, when asked about who will ultimately end up paying for the care in the future, most people said it will either be the adult themselves or their families.

Those polled also believe that in 30 years, seniors of retirement age will be less financially prepared for retirement compared to 65-year olds today. They predict that seniors will have to work past 70 in order to be financially prepared to retire.
