Amy joined the company in 2016 as a Benefits Planner. Eventually, she moved to the Marketing team and took on her current role as Marketing Director. Every day is different for Amy, and she often finds herself ending the day in a completely different way than she had expected. She acts as the point of contact between the executive team and the Marketing team and develops presentations, content, and marketing strategies. Her daily duties include managing the Marketing team staff, overseeing team projects, and coordinating with industry partners on collaborative projects. In addition to supporting the Marketing team and working to help each team member succeed, Amy’s main priority is providing easy-to-understand educational content to help our clients better understand and succeed in the industry. In doing so, she communicates the company mission and vision to help them recognize how Krause can help.
Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Wisconsin—Stevens Point where she also studied Political Science. She earned her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Concordia University Wisconsin. Prior to Krause, Amy worked as a paralegal at an elder law firm, which was her first introduction to the elder care space. She gained a holistic view of the industry beyond annuities and crisis planning and learned about the intricacies of the field, providing her a strong foundation for her jobs at Krause.
Amy has a knack for taking complex information and making it easy to digest, which has proven to be a necessary skill in developing educational materials for our clients. She is a good listener and a hard worker, and she always strives to ensure the Marketing team is working efficiently to achieve team and company goals. Amy is passionate about the elder care industry, and she takes pride in the content she develops for our agent clients. She also appreciates the opportunity to discover what makes people tick and use that to reach them and provide a solution to their problem. Amy values integrity, knowledge, authenticity, and finding meaning in her work.
