Alisa has been part of the team since the beginning of 2019, when she started as a Benefits Planner before eventually moving into her role as Legal Content Specialist. Alisa is responsible for developing and curating high-quality content related to the estate planning and elder law industry, including blogs, articles, case analyses, white papers, presentations, and video scripts. She stays up to date on any new cases and strategies involving crisis Medicaid planning and Medicaid Compliant Annuities. Alisa also collaborates with the Sales team to ensure our content addresses common client questions and serves as a point of contact with third-party legal content producers.
Alisa earned her associate degree in Paralegal Studies from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin—Green Bay. She had a double major in Political Science and Democracy and Justice Studies and a minor in Business Administration. Alisa has prior experience as a probate and estate paralegal, which gave her valuable insight into the legal field and taught her the importance of attention to detail. She also learned about the estate planning process and the importance of planning ahead. Alisa is a Notary Public and a licensed insurance agent.
Alisa is detail-oriented, a good communicator, and understands the value of providing essential legal information. She has a strong sense of urgency, especially when it comes to educating and updating clients about the crisis Medicaid planning process. She appreciates the opportunity to advocate for seniors and their loved ones who are experiencing a stressful time. Alisa loves being able to help others achieve their financial goals and know that they are getting the care they deserve.
In her free time, Alisa enjoys watching movies, shopping, hiking, traveling, and spending summer weekends at the family cottage. She spends a lot of her time outside of work with her husband, Brent, and their two dogs, Brody and Charlie.
